Guthrie County Hospital has an opening for a On Call Weekend Package Radiology Technologist to join our Medical Imaging team. This position will be on call from 6:00pm Friday unit 6:00am Monday for a flat rate per weekend. MUST be within a 20 minute response time to the facility.
The Radiology Technologist will provide expert diagnostic radiological imaging and patient care to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, physicians and customers in and outside the medical imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Must be able to perform both general x-ray and CT
• Produces accurate, well-defined images.
• Assures that all required consent forms are signed prior to examinations.
• Practices radiation safety for self and patients' safety.
• Processes images and prepare them for reading by the radiologist.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an ARRT approved Radiologic Technology program
  • Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Licensed by the state of Iowa as a General Radiology Technologist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
  • One year experience preferred
