Job description

Job Summary:
Geospatial and Cloud Analytics (GCA) is seeking a Tech Control Facility (TCF) Operations, Lead to oversee the day-to-day performance, operational readiness, and modernization of TCFs and supporting infrastructure at a federal client site. The role involves ensuring the continuous availability of secure communications, providing leadership to technical teams, and managing mission-critical network assets.
Responsibilities:
• Direct and oversee daily operations within the Tech Control Facility (TCF).
• Supervise Tier II Help Desk and Tier III technical support personnel to ensure service level agreement (SLA) compliance.
• Ensure high availability and operational integrity of network components, including switches, encryption devices, circuits, and consoles.
• Manage incident response workflows, technical troubleshooting, and resolution efforts.
• Maintain accurate and current documentation, SOPs, and operational logs.
• Lead activities related to the maintenance and restoration of transmission paths and facilities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience
• At least 5 years managing and operating cryptographic facilities
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)
• DoD IAT Level II certification (Ex. CompTIA Security +)
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required at start
• Proven ability to manage the operational health of Tech Control Facilities
• Hands-on experience with Tech Control systems, including switches, encryption hardware, consoles, and telecommunications circuits
• Demonstrated experience supervising personnel in environments of similar size and complexity to those described in this Call Order
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with senior management and government officials
• In-depth knowledge of Tier II Help Desk operations and compliance with DISAC 310-175-9 standards
• Ability to lead technical direction, coordination, and resolution efforts necessary to maintain robust and resilient communications infrastructure
