School Bus Driver & Bus Monitor – Join Our Growing Team!

Gateway Transportation of NY Inc.

Gateway Transportation of NY is looking for dependable, caring, and safety-focused School Bus Drivers and Bus Monitors to join our growing team transporting students throughout the Capital Region.

School Bus Driver Responsibilities

  • Safely transport students to and from school.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment on the bus.
  • Follow all DOT, New York State, and company safety regulations.

Bus Monitor Responsibilities

  • Assist students while boarding, riding, and exiting the bus.
  • Help ensure student safety and appropriate behavior.
  • Work closely with the driver to provide safe and reliable transportation.
  • Assist students with special needs as required.

Qualifications

Drivers:

  • Valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements (or willingness to obtain one if training is offered)
  • Clean driving record
  • Pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening

Monitors:

  • Reliable and dependable
  • Enjoy working with children
  • Pass required background screening
