We are hiring a Security Officer for our growing team!  The Security Officer is a vital member of the corporate office component of the system of care. The Security Officer is responsible for creating a safe and healthy environment for person served/clients and staff. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrols and monitors an assigned area; reports suspicious activities to local authorities

  • Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors crowds

  • Provides constant monitoring of vehicular and pedestrian traffic throughout the campus

  • Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency

  • After business hours, checks doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure

  • Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property

  • Reasonably detains persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives

  • Escorts discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises

  • Maintains written log of all security related incidents and their dispositions.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Key Experience and Education Needed:

  • High school graduate or GED required

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred

  • Previous work experience as a security guard or related position is preferred  

  • Substance abuse field experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Analytical and multitasking skills

  • Attention to detail and organization a must
