Job description

Access Control Truck Gate/Security Officer

Location: Newnan, GA 

Pay Rate: $18.35/hour 

Schedule: Saturday-Monday | 7:00am-3:00pm 

Employment Type: Part-time opportunity with potential for full time.

Position Overview 

We are seeking reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to support security operations at a facility in the Newnan, GA area. This role focuses on maintaining site safety, controlling access, and ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the property.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Control access at designated entry and exit points
  • Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for personnel and vehicles
  • Monitor and document activity at access control gates
  • Conduct routine patrols as assigned
  • Enforce site rules and security procedures
  • Report incidents, safety concerns, or suspicious activity accurately and promptly
  • Maintain a professional and customer-service-focused presence at all times

Qualifications 

  • Prior security experience preferred (but not required)
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Strong communication and observation skills
  • Ability to remain alert, dependable, and professional during all shifts
