About the role:

Origin, Australia's largest energy retailer with 4.3 million customers, is continuously evolving to meet their needs. We are seeking an experienced Gas Fitter to join our LPG Energy Markets Business at Somerton. In this position, you will be responsible for providing gas fitting services for the installation and maintenance of gas equipment at Origin customer and terminal sites.

Why this role matters:

  • Complete new LPG installations within specified time frames and in compliance with required codes and standards
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs at existing customer sites.
  • Ensure all work is conducted safely by adhering to Origin's permit to work system
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with statutory and company requirements
  • Provide expert advice on LPG gas installations to customers
  • Review existing installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and Origin codes

What will you bring?

  • Trade qualified Gas Fitter
  • Full Victoria type A gas fitting license
  • MR licence or the ability to obtain.
  • Exposure to LPG and Natural Gas
  • Prior domestic experience preferred
  • Experience in servicing, breakdowns, and installation of gas appliances
  • Plumbing/Draining Licences desirable
  • Electrical License desirable
