  • Coordinate closely with civil, structural, electrical, process, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Support procurement activities, including equipment packages, vendor coordination, and bid reviews.
  • Act as a senior technical resource and provide guidance to junior engineers and designers.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Support project delivery and business development initiatives where required.
  • Promote strong safety, quality, and engineering standards throughout project execution.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario, or eligible to obtain registration.
  • Approximately 10-15+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
  • Strong experience within mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial environments.
  • Experience with industrial plant layout, pumping and piping systems, conveyors, HVAC, and material handling equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian engineering codes and standards.
  • Proven ability to lead technical scopes and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Familiarity with engineering software such as AFT Fathom, BeltStat, HAP, or similar is considered an asset.
  • Exposure to AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks, Revit, CADWorx, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar platforms is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
