Job description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience, a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, and strong attention to detail.


The position involves managing bookkeeping for multiple clients, primarily in the gas station industry. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for handling assigned client accounts while working closely with the owner and other team members. The ideal candidate should be organized, reliable, comfortable working with multiple accounts, and willing to learn and grow within the role.


Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and manage general ledger accounts

- Prepare monthly financial statements

- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

- Prepare and file sales tax returns

- Assist with year-end closing and reporting

- Communicate with clients to obtain information and resolve bookkeeping questions

- Work closely with clients and internal team members


Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

- Experience preparing and filing sales tax returns

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines

- Strong communication skills


Schedule:
