HVAC Retrofit Installer | $35.00 - $50.00 per hour + Spiffs

Position Overview: Retrofit /changeout installation of residential and light commercial equipment, and indoor air quality products.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional overtime

What you will be doing:

  • Residential and light commercial retrofit / changeout installs
  • Installations include ducted and ductless equipment

  • Installing Refrigeration Pipe
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Test and balance systems
  • Consult with customer on equipment and indoor air quality accessories
  • Train new employees and helpers in all aspects of the installation
  • Supervise the work of other installers, maintaining high-quality and timely job performance

Qualifications / Skills

  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • 4 + years of residential retrofit install experience
  • 06B Electrical License or almost ready to test for it
  • Electrical trainee card with hours
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
  • Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation of all residential and light commercial systems
  • General knowledge of all HVAC low voltage systems
  • Able to train and oversee a helper is ideal
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications Desired:

  • 06A Electrical License
