A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED MEDICAL GAS INSTALLER - PIPE FITTER

As a Certified Medical Gas Installer - Pipe Fitter, you have the essential responsibility of installing pipelines that safely convey oxygen, nitrous oxide, nitrogen, and other gases to patients in healthcare facilities. Your ASSE 6010 installer and ASSE IX brazer certifications ensure that you have the specialized skills required to competently work on every component of gas distribution systems, including manifolds, alarms, vacuum pumps, and air compressors.


Attentive to detail, you follow all regulations as you cut and join copper tubing using recommended brazing methods. Safety-oriented and thorough, you test systems and alarms to ensure they're functioning properly.
