Description
Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in Utility Construction, is hiring Gas Fitters with natural gas experience for our Manassas, VA operation. The purpose of a Gas Fitter at Team Fishel is to install steel gas pipe or PVC piping of all sizes by welding and/or fusing.
Responsibilities
  • Installation of new steel gas mains & services using tools such as a welding machine, cutting torches
  • Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, soldering
  • Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, observation, or other methods
  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
  • Layout of pipe, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints
  • Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications
  • Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment, following specifications and using hand and power tools

Requirements & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One to three years related work experience.
  • Valid Class A CDL Drivers license preferred
  • Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing)

Starting pay $25 - $30 / hour depending upon experience.
