Cylinder Production Operator 

Cylinder Products Group | Full-time | On-site | Sharpsville, Pennsylvania

Starting Pay: $14.52 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, First Shift 5:00AM to 1:30PM

Sharpsville Container Corporation is an established manufacturer of stainless steel containers, cylinders, and custom-fabricated vessels used by customers across a variety of industries. At our Sharpsville facility, we combine skilled manufacturing, specialized equipment, and rigorous quality standards to produce durable products our customers rely on.

We are seeking dependable, safety-conscious production operators to join our Cylinder Products Group (“CPG”). In this hands-on role, you will help manufacture steel cylinders by preparing materials, operating assigned equipment and welding equipment, inspecting work, completing production records, and maintaining a safe and organized work area.

What You’ll Do
  • Review work orders, drawings, and production instructions to understand job requirements.
  • Gather, inspect, prepare, and position materials and components for production.
  • Operate assigned manufacturing equipment, hand tools, gauges, and fixtures after training.
  • Perform in-process visual and basic dimensional inspections; report defects or quality concerns.
  • Complete production, inspection, and material-tracking documentation accurately and on time.
  • Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and established manufacturing practices.
  • Maintain clean, orderly equipment and work areas and support daily production goals.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and accurately complete basic paperwork.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn multiple production operations.

Work Environment

This is an on-site industrial manufacturing position involving prolonged standing and walking, frequent use of the hands and arms, bending and reaching, material handling, production equipment, noise, and required personal protective equipment. Specific shift hours, overtime expectations, and the physical requirements for the assigned workstation will be reviewed during the hiring process.
