Job description

As a Systems Engineer, your mission is to serve as the technical anchor throughout the project lifecycle, transforming customer requirements into reliable compressor package designs while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and customer commitments. You will report to the Lead Senior SystemsMechanical Engineer.

You will

  • Support project execution through design calculations, drawing and bill of material reviews, compressor package layout development, and component research.
  • Review and interpret customer specifications, define project scope, and incorporate requirements into project designs and documentation.
  • Specify major compressor package components, including oil systems, seal gas systems, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, filters, and related auxiliary equipment.
  • Coordinate with project teams, vendors, manufacturing, field service, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of technical documentation and project milestones.
  • Review vendor drawings and documentation, provide technical feedback, and ensure compliance with project requirements and engineering standards.
To succeed
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and experience supporting industrial equipment, process systems, or turbomachinery projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of oil systems, seal gas systems, piping systems, and industrial equipment design.
  • Experience working with industrial turbomachinery or rotating equipment.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with CAD software, engineering documentation, and specification development.
