Job description

Domestic Gas Heating Engineer

Location: Greenford & UB1 post codes

Rate: £250 - £280 Per day

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Temporary / Permanent opportunities available

We are currently looking for an experienced Domestic Gas Heating Engineer to join a busy reactive maintenance team covering domestic properties across London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced engineer who is confident working independently on domestic heating systems, breakdowns, repairs and general gas-related maintenance.

Duties

Attend domestic properties to carry out reactive gas and heating works

Diagnose and repair boiler and heating system faults

Carry out servicing and maintenance where required

Complete fault finding and identify necessary repairs

Carry out general domestic heating works

Liaise professionally with customers and provide a high standard of service

Complete job sheets and relevant documentation

Work safely and in accordance with current gas regulations

Requirements

Valid Gas Safe registration

Proven experience working as a domestic Gas/Heating Engineer

Strong boiler fault-finding and diagnostic experience

Experience working in reactive maintenance or domestic call-outs

Full UK driving licence

Own tools and suitable PPE

Good communication and customer service skills

Reliable, professional and able to work independently

Desirable: Experience with multiple domestic boiler manufacturers and heating systems.
