Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Gardener to join our team at Wilcox Nursery. This role is ideal for someone passionate about gardening and landscaping, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team. As a Landscape Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing clients’ landscapes through sustainable practices, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. This position reports to a team lead or manager and includes a performance pay system to incentivize quality and efficiency, with opportunities for career advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Support client account retention through excellent customer experience and service delivery
  • Perform quality pruning, weeding, and mulching to promote plant health and landscape beauty
  • Enhance each landscape visit by implementing best management practices and proactive maintenance
  • Maintain professional, prompt communication and conduct wellness checks to keep clients informed
  • Identify client needs and suggest landscape improvements such as additional plants or mulching
  • Collaborate within a small team to deliver consistent, high-quality services
  • Ensure plant health care and overall landscape enhancement with attention to detail
