SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIAN
 

AS NEEDED BASIS

DAYS WORKED:  On - Call
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, lift and assist in lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally climb and descend ladders up to 50 feet when needed.
Ability to perform repetitive motions such as mopping, sweeping, dumping garbage cans, cleaning and scrubbing restrooms.
Ability to consistently bend, kneel, and perform extended arms/shoulders use including overhead.
Must be willing to clean up body fluids in accordance with required procedures.
Ability to use custodial heavy-duty power equipment and hand tools and handle chemicals and paints required.
Ability to read, comprehend and follow manufacture's and District's (Standard of Procedures Maintenance Manual) procedures and operational instructions.
Ability and willingness to take direction and work with minimum supervision.
Valid Washington State Driver's License with a good driving record.
Must have a working home telephone or cell phone (no message phone).
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with building staff, administrators/supervisors, other maintenance/custodial staff and community.
Flexible work schedule and hours.
Prior Experience preferred.
Must be able to pass a Physical Capacity Exam and WSP/FBI background check.
