Job description

Lake Naomi Club, a Platinum Country Club located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains, is seeking motivated Dishwashers to join our Food & Beverage Team for the upcoming summer season. We offer competitive hourly rates, and the use of the Club's amenities while employed. Offering a $1,000 incentive if a candidate is hired and works through Labor Day.

  • Ensure dishes are sanitized and available as needed.
  • Keep sanitation solution up to local code standards at all times.
  • Set up/close down dish machine according to established procedures.
  • Maintain daily cleanliness of dish machine and surrounding areas.
  • Wash plates, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
  • Replace clean plates on specified shelves.
  • Keep garbage cans empty and replace with clean garbage bags.
  • Keep kitchen area clean by sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Clean and sanitize throughout shift.
  • Trouble-shoot dishwasher machine malfunctions.
  • Keep Executive Chef and Sous Chef promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with other employees to foster and promote a cooperative working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
