We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Garbage Truck Driver to join our sanitation team. The ideal candidate will operate a couple of different waste collection trucks, including rear loader and side loader to ensure efficient and safe collection services. This role requires a strong focus on safety, mechanical knowledge, and excellent driving skills to maintain our high standards of service.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload waste materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.

  • Maneuver trucks in tight spaces, residential areas, and commercial sites with skill and caution.

  • Maintain accurate logs of daily routes, pickups, and vehicle maintenance records.

  • Follow all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving and waste management.

  • Assist with equipment maintenance or minor repairs as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge when applicable.
