Job description

Truck Washer/Shop Helper

RWC Idealease Phx.AZ. is looking for a full-time truck washer/shop helper. Position overview: Currently, we are looking for an individual to clean our rental and lease fleet as well as help the mechanics in the shop. This is a full-time position in the evenings (12:30pm-9:00PM) Monday through Friday.

Job responsibilities:

  • Clean, refurbish, and detail our semi and box trucks
  • Apply cleaning chemicals to the inside and outside of trucks
  • Vacuum and wipe down all interior surfaces
  • Dispose of trash left in cab
  • Partake achieving objectives set forth by the shop manager by taking out garbage, sweeping floors, and keeping a clean work area
  • Safely perform assigned tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Preferred experience and qualifications:

  • Ability to operate pressure washers and pressure wash chemicals
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience working in fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license/CDL a plus
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check test and motor vehicle record check
  • Must not have any DUI or drug convictions in the last five years
  • Must be able to effectively read, write & understand verbal instructions in English
