Full-time onsite: Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. This position may require some weekend work.

This is a first shift positoin working a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off! Start time between 6:30am and 8am.
Performs tests of circuit cards on a custom-designed tester platform using a Windows based PC platform. Sets up and operates in accordance with prescribed procedures on designated tester platform. This includes installing circuit cards into test fixtures along with the appropriate cabling. Environmental testing occurs in either a thermal chamber or thermal vacuum chamber environment; therefore basic operation of these chambers is required. Perform and set up vibration testing of circuit cards. Set up new programs and conduct program validation for new products on the Flying Probe tester and Automated Optical Inspection system. Assist with troubleshoot failures. Uses test software in a strict configuration management environment. Pull and review data package at the end of each test to support End Item Data Package.

Required Skills and Education
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Understands standard test procedures
  • 1 years+ of experience in electrical testing and troubleshooting of circuit card assemblies
  • Understanding of Thermal Vacuum systems
  • Comfortable working in a team environment

Preferred Skills and Education
  • 2 year associate degree Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience of electrical testing of circuit cards and systems
  • Understands standard test procedures

  • Experience in vibration testing of circuit cards assemblies and boxes
