JOB SUMMARY:

The Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated intern to assist our Membership Experience team for the 2026/27 season. This internship program offers the opportunity to gain valuable skills as you work in the unique and exciting environment of the professional sports and entertainment industry. You will learn aspects of sports and event management, client hospitality, ticket sales and service strategies, and more. The internship begins September 7th, 2026, and runs through the end of the 2026/27 Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth Seasons.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Membership Experience team in the planning and execution of events/tickets including fan experiences on game days.
  • Assist where needed at events and Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth game nights.
  • Organizing/updating season ticket member information.
  • Fulfilling touchpoints to season ticket member seats during Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth games.
  • Managing the season ticket member hub.
  • A typical game night shift would range from early afternoon to post-game.
  • Certain times may require work on non-game nights as needed.
  • Primary work locations will be the Delta Center and occasionally the Sandy Offices.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a sports-related field.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with learning and collaborating in a dynamic team environment.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.


POSITION TYPE:

  • Part-time (including game nights & a few events)
  • 20-30 hours per week
  • Paid internship


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to communicate and express yourself both written and verbally.
  • Must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
