Game Day Mobile Ticket Assistance Intern / UK Football
Overview:
FanGate Solutions is a customer service driven company here to provide live entertainment and sports venues with a professional team of trained event day staff. Our philosophy is to treat our client's fans like our own with a knowledgeable, reliable, and fan friendly team. We are looking for eager, highly motivated, and friendly individuals aspiring to work in the sports and entertainment industry and are willing to travel.
Would you like to experience working at SEC Football events? As a Game Day Mobile Ticket Assistance Intern team member for FanGate Solutions, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in ticket operations and customer service at University of Kentucky home football games. Event staff will receive training on Ticketmaster applications, giving top notch customer service, troubleshooting ticket scanning issues, as well as venue information.
Responsibilities:
  • Aid guests with accurate game and promotional information
  • Provide problem solving techniques to assist all customer inquiries and concerns
  • Use TM1 Sales to lookup UK Ticket Holder accounts and send tickets digitally via SMS text
  • Review event tickets and give accurate information on seating location
  • Assist fans with WiFi connectivity
  • Assist fans with logging into their mobile ticket account and accessing their mobile tickets
  • Troubleshoot ticket scanning issues at entry gate locations
  • Represent FanGate Solutions and its clients in a professional and ethical manner
  • Punctual and self-motivated with an attention to detail
  • Communicate all pertinent information with clients and guests
  • Provide & maintain the highest level of customer service to clients and guests
  • Perform other duties & responsibilities as assigned by managers

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Willing to travel to Lexington, KY on the weekends listed below
  • Ability to work untraditional hours including weekends and evenings
  • College student majoring in sport management, marketing, communications or related fields is a plus
  • Eager to start & build a career in sports and live entertainment
  • Ability to deliver exceptional service by anticipating the guests' needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills that complement a team-oriented work ethic
  • Must be neat and presentable at all times
  • Must be 18 years of age or older with at least a high school diploma or GED

Duration and Pay:This is a paid events position for work during actual events at $12/hour. Shifts are approximately 5 hours in length. Staff are also allowed entry into the stadium for the second half of the game (at the discretion of UK's Director of Ticket Operations).
