If you grew up on the Internet like us, you know mental health is more important than ever. But many people face obstacles when seeking traditional mental health care, like finding the right support or having the right insurance.
At Healthy Gamer, we think modern mental health care should be inclusive and affordable. Our coaching service has helped over 32,000 people across 150 countries since it's launch in November 2019. Our movement is gaining traction, putting us in the top 0.1% of Twitch streamers and the top 1% of YouTube channels. And we're working on even more resources to help people find a way forward when they need it.
We've made an impact in the gaming community, but that's not where our mission ends. We want to change how people think about and deal with mental health, and we're looking for passionate people to help us get there. We are building teams of the best and the brightest in mental wellness, and we are having fun doing it.
What You'll Do
We are seeking a Marketing Director to lead product marketing strategy, brand marketing, and communications management for the Healthy Gamer organization. This role is responsible for the formulating the strategy and driving the execution of all marketing communications across the organization, including brand, product, and content marketing, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all channels. You will drive revenue growth, community engagement, and brand awareness while ensuring alignment across marketing, product, and content.
As a key leader, you will shape how our products are positioned, promoted, and experienced across all touchpoints. We are looking for an experienced consumer marketer with a proven track record in e-commerce, digital products, and/or services, who can combine strategic thinking with strong execution to deliver measurable business impact.
Responsibilities:
Brand & Creative Strategy
  • Own and evolve the overall brand strategy, ensuring a clear, differentiated, and consistent brand identity across all channels
  • Define and lead the creative strategy, guiding campaign development, visual direction, and storytelling in partnership with design and content teams
  • Ensure all marketing outputs balance brand-building with performance and revenue goals

Product Marketing & Positioning
  • Own product marketing strategy, messaging, and documentation
  • Define and refine unique selling points and competitive differentiation
  • Lead competitive analysis to ensure strong market positioning

Customer Journey & Conversion
  • Oversee and optimize the end-to-end customer journey across website, platform, and marketing channels
  • Ensure consistency and effectiveness of all customer-facing communications and microcopy

Revenue & Campaign Strategy
  • Develop pricing and promotional strategies based on key performance metrics (revenue, margins, LTV, sales trends)
  • Lead campaign strategy and execution to achieve revenue targets
  • Monitor performance, report on insights, and adjust strategy proactively

Channel & Growth Strategy
  • Define and manage channel strategy across web, email, social, partnerships, and press
  • Oversee marketing assets and ensure optimal brand and product visibility

Content & Messaging
  • Establish high-level messaging frameworks for products, campaigns, and promotions
  • Guide content strategy, including CTAs and campaign alignment across channels

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with product, research, coaching, and partnerships teams to ensure alignment and timely communication
  • Provide market insights to inform product roadmap and business strategy

Digital Strategy & Communications
  • Own and execute the overall digital strategy across website, SEO/GEO, email, and social channels to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion
  • Oversee website performance, user experience, and content to ensure alignment with product positioning and revenue goals
  • Collaborate with SEO partners to define and implement content strategies that drive organic growth and search visibility
  • Lead digital communications strategy across email and social, ensuring consistent messaging, effective audience targeting, and campaign performance
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure all digital touchpoints are optimized, up-to-date, and aligned with key initiatives and promotions

Team Leadership, Budget & Performance Ownership
  • Own marketing budget planning, allocation, and ROI optimization
  • Define, track, and report on key marketing KPIs (e.g., revenue, CAC, LTV, conversion rates, campaign performance)
  • Hire, manage, and develop the marketing team, aligning resources to business priorities
  • Align team execution with revenue goals and strategic objectives
  • Lead marketing planning, project management, and execution across all channels
  • Coordinate product communications across email, social, and community platforms

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on product or growth marketing
  • Proven track record of driving revenue through multi-channel campaigns
  • Experience owning budgets, KPIs, and team hiring/development
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and initiatives
