Fastpoint Games is looking for a Senior Engineer for its Game Operations team. The ideal candidate can both lead a team or work in a group; likes a fast-paced, startup environment; is highly detail-oriented and has excellent troubleshooting skills. We're looking for: - Experience with Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails - Enjoys and understands games and game mechanics - Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills - Knowledgeable in Sports and/or Fantasy Sports - Solid understanding of back-end programming - Mastery of Rake and Capistrano - Experience with the SVN command line - Comfortable coordinating multiple departments - Experience with web-based applications - Experience in a linux environment - Experience using Oracle or Postgres - Well versed in SQL - Experience with Apache and Passenger - Likes to build automation tools - Familiarity with the full SDLC, version control and all the other aspects of professional development At Fastpoint Games, we'll offer you: - Ownership of large projects - Ability to play a critical role in a rapidly expanding company - Competitive compensation with both salary and stock options.
