Job description

About the role:
What does it take to bring a St. Louis Blues game or a sold-out concert to life? This internship offers a behind-the-scenes look at live event operations through hands-on experience with the Guest Experience and Public Safety teams. These departments oversee more than 250 staff members and play a vital role in delivering a world-class experience at both Enterprise Center and Stifel Theatre.
This is a paid, part-time internship working approximately 20-29 hours per week.
Pay: $15/hr.
Preferred start date: August 3, 2026
*Internship effective until December 31st, with the opportunity to extend to the end of the season
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support Guest Experience Managers during hockey games, concerts, and family shows
  • Coordinate staff check-in, event equipment distribution, VIP activities, guest assistance, and other operational needs on event days
  • Serve as a point of contact for guest inquiries, issue resolution, and wayfinding
  • Oversee the distribution and tracking of event equipment, including radios and ticket scanners
  • Maintain and manage both venues lost and found, providing both inventory oversight and guest support
  • Organize and distribute wristbands for Club-level access and special event areas
  • Track and compile guest feedback, outstanding staff recognitions, attendance records, as well as uniform and equipment inventory
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures
  • Uphold safety regulations and industry best practices in all aspects of assigned work
  • Shadow Guest Experience leadership to gain a comprehensive understanding of event operations
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Guest Experience
Qualifications
  • Current enrollment as a college student or recent graduate
  • Desire to gain hands-on experience in professional sports, hospitality, venue operations, security, and event management
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Observant and proactive, with a focus on problem-solving and guest satisfaction
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of staff and guests
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and creative platforms such as Canva
  • Availability to work daytime, evening, and weekend hours
