JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Greenville Swamp Rabbits are seeking Retail Sales Associates. The game day role will be responsible for creating and enhancing the customer and fan experience while generating sales revenue. In tandem with the Retail team, you'll support the merchandise department with maintaining a neat clean and organized work environment within the team store. Monitor and assist with inventory management, visual displays, merchandise operational standards and efficiently utilize the POS system and E-Commerce platform.
The Retail Sales Associate will; be a creative thinker - with a growth mindset on maximizing revenue, ways of working and expanding the branding presence of the team through merchandising; an effective multi-tasker and have a passion for business development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Support all operations related to the Retail platform inventory management; visual merchandising; point of sale; e-commerce fulfillment, as needed
  • Provide prompt, thorough, and courteous responses to all customers; maintaining a high level of customer service to existing and new clients. This is a forward-facing role representing the organization.
  • Perform Game Day responsibilities of the Hop Shop and satellite sales locations

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
  • Highly organized, resourceful, detailed-oriented, quick learner and have good time management skills
  • Excellent relationship building and customer service skills
  • Ability to learn in a team environment and adhere to departmental guidelines
  • Ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of management
  • Proficient with Retail Sales Operations including point of sale and back-end reporting; ability to learn required business systems
  • Ability to professionally handle highly sensitive and confidential information

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Experience:
  • 1-2 years of prior work experience in retail; preferably in the sports industry with a focus on retail sales
  • Must be able to work game nights, weekends, and holidays, based on organization events schedule.
