Position Summary

Fort Wayne FC is seeking a driven, energetic, and results-oriented Ticket Sales Account Executive to join our sales team. This position is responsible for generating new ticket revenue through the sale of season tickets, ticket packages, single-game tickets, and other ticket products.


The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who thrives in a competitive, team-oriented environment and is passionate about building relationships and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This individual will be expected to actively prospect for new business, manage a pipeline of potential customers, conduct sales appointments, and consistently achieve individual and team revenue goals.


The Ticket Sales Account Executive will work under the direction of the Chief Revenue Officer and collaborate closely with other members of the club's sales, marketing, partnerships, and game-day teams.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Sell a full range of Fort Wayne FC ticket products, including season tickets, ticket packages, single-game tickets, group tickets, and premium seating opportunities.
  • Generate new business through outbound calling, email, referrals, networking, prospecting, cold outreach, and club-provided leads.
  • Manage a sales pipeline from initial prospecting through the closing of the sale.
  • Conduct in-stadium and off-site sales appointments with prospective customers and groups.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers through consistent communication and follow-up.
  • Utilize the club's CRM to accurately document prospecting activity, sales conversations, appointments, follow-ups, and account information.
  • Utilize the club's ticketing platform to identify available seating locations, present seating options, and complete ticket transactions.
  • Meet or exceed established individual sales goals, revenue targets, and activity expectations.
  • Maintain consistent daily and weekly sales activity, including outbound calls, emails, appointments, and follow-ups.
  • Assist with the retention and servicing of existing season ticket members and other assigned accounts.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for ticket-related inquiries received by phone, email, social media, and other inbound channels.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with club and USL staff to promote ticket sales initiatives, special events, and match-day experiences.
  • Assist with game-day ticket operations and provide exceptional service to fans and customers.
  • Assist with administrative ticketing functions and other sales-related responsibilities as needed.
  • Support club promotions, community initiatives, special events, and other revenue-generating activities.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Chief Revenue Officer.
  • Maintain a professional image and represent Fort Wayne FC positively in the community.
  • Work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and match days, as required.
Requirements:

Experience and Training

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sports management, communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • 1–2 years of experience in ticket sales, sales, customer service, hospitality, professional sports, collegiate athletics, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with a CRM, ticketing system, or sales technology platform preferred.
  • Experience in a goal-oriented or performance-based sales environment preferred.
  • Experience working in professional sports, collegiate athletics, entertainment, or live events is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in building a career in professional sports and/or ticket sales.


Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during match days and events.
  • Frequent use of computers, phone, and other office technology for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds (marketing materials, event signage, promotional items).
  • Ability to work both indoors in an office setting and outdoors in varying weather conditions during matches and community events.
