Youth Sports Field Supervisor (Part-Time)

St. Andrew's Parish Parks & Playground Commission is seeking dependable, enthusiastic Youth Sports Field Supervisors to oversee recreational athletic events and ensure a safe, organized, and positive environment for players, coaches, officials, and spectators.

As the on-site representative during games and tournaments, you'll help prepare facilities, support game operations, enforce policies, respond to issues, and ensure each event runs smoothly.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise youth sports games and events
  • Prepare fields and facilities before games
  • Support referees, scorekeepers, coaches, and participants
  • Monitor safety and enforce facility policies
  • Respond to incidents and complete required reports
  • Assist with weather-related safety procedures and facility closing

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of related experience in athletics, recreation, or customer service preferred
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain if hired)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills

Schedule

  • Part-time hours based on the athletic schedule, with most shifts occurring evenings and weekends

Pay

  • $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience
