Oneida Technical Solutions, LLC (OTS) has a rich history of providing IT support and associated services in highly complex, highly regulated, highly secure environments, including the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), law enforcement, health care, retail, and the casino gaming industry. OTS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oneida Innovations Group and is the parent company of Croop-LaFrance (CLF), an experienced federal contracting firm.

Job Title: Engineer III
Location: Buckley Space Force Base, Aurora, CO
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Engineer III to join our team at Buckley Space Force Base. This role involves providing critical analysis, design, development, and integration of hardware, software, and human-machine interfaces to deliver integrated Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) solutions. The Engineer III will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to meet system-level requirements while balancing practical, regulatory, safety, and cost considerations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze system-level requirements and functional objectives to design, develop, and integrate hardware and software components into cohesive EIT solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all human-machine interfaces meet operational and safety standards.
  • Evaluate system limitations related to practicality, regulation, safety, and cost, providing innovative solutions to overcome challenges.
  • Develop and implement integrated system test requirements, strategies, devices, and systems to ensure successful validation and performance of the final solution.
  • Perform system testing and troubleshooting, ensuring system reliability, safety, and functionality.
  • Document technical processes, procedures, and test results, providing clear communication to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or related field).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, hardware/software integration, or similar roles.
  • Strong experience with system design, development, and testing processes.
  • Proficiency in designing human-machine interfaces and integrating them into larger system architectures.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in engineering environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • IAT-Level II Baseline Certification
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) or aerospace environment.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT systems and relevant test strategies.
