Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing technical and organizational support for all Direct Marketing efforts including but not limited to the gathering data and providing actionable insights to help guide strategic decisions, the creation and execution of queries to extract data for direct marketing programs and the preparation of data for direct marketing vendors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service. 
  • Responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of database segmentation models.
  • Accurately create and modify existing database queries to extract data for direct marketing programs.
  • Manipulate and sort lists in preparation for direct marketing vendors.
  • Create, manage and distribute direct marketing reports.
  • Reconcile data across multiple databases to ensure accuracy in reporting and direct marketing lists.
  • Research and recommend effective direct marketing approaches.
  • Assist with NCOA and other data hygiene efforts.
  • Supports all operational department needs, helping to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Serves as a training resource on analytic programming tools and methods.
  • Coordinate system testing with IT.
  • Investigates and solves data quality issues.
  • Prepares ad-hoc analysis upon request.
  • Maintains professional relations with vendors and guests.
  • Attend and participate in off property functions and events as assigned.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
  • Communicates effectively with all levels of the operation.  Proactively identifies issues and concerns to management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Attend seminars when needed.

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):

  • Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Board.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Prior experience in the Gaming industry preferred.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
  • Prior experience opening new properties/outlets strongly preferred.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • SQL Server Management Studio/Query tools required (intermediate to advanced skills required).
  • Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced skills required).
  • Microsoft Word, Access, and Powerpoint.
  • Tableau or similar data visualization software preferred.
  • Bally’s CMP, EBS, Kiosk and BI Tool experience preferred.
  • Sound interpersonal judgment and decision-making skills.
