Product Manager - Gaming

An Product Manager (PM) hasownership and responsibility for all tasks required to launch, successfullyoperate and grow MMO game title(s).

Responsibilities:

  • An PM has ownership and responsibility for all tasks required to launch, successfully operate and grow MMO game title(s)
  • The PM is responsible for launch and all aspects of live game operation of an assigned title including
  • Analysis with detailed recommendations on how to improve game titles under management for the North American and EMEA markets.
  • Management of the in-game economy
  • Event Programming
  • In game marketing promotions
  • Processing feedback from the user community to create improvements in the game offering
  • The PM is responsible for the extended roadmap for games under his/her management including content release, item and event planning
  • Developer relations: The PM role functions as the owner and central contact point with the developer during the development and launch of the product

Requirements:

  • 5+ years game production, marketing and operation experience including
  • Production or publishing of game titles (MMOโ€™s or online game titles preferred)
  • Project Management (Development tracking experience) of large scale projects
  • Working with external game development (Working with foreign development resources a plus)
  • Familiarity or prior experience with the QA process
  • Experience in a live service environment including service programming, and customer management
  • Experience in Forecasting, Pricing, or working with Micro transactions a plus
  • Foreign Languages (Chinese, Korean, Japanese) a plus
