Job description

Huntsville, AL (Hybrid) Full‑Time. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance required.

Design and build real‑time 3D training, simulation, and visualization systems for defense customers. You’ll work in Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar real‑time engines to create interactive scenarios, integrate with hardware when needed, and deliver practical systems that support training and mission readiness.

What you’ll do
  • Develop real‑time 3D applications using Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar game engine technologies.
  • Build interactive training scenarios, simulations, visualizations, and user workflows from operational tasks or technical requirements.
  • Integrate applications with XR headsets, controllers, sensors, external systems, or custom hardware when required.
  • Optimize performance across desktop, tethered XR, and standalone XR platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and subject‑matter experts to translate requirements into usable interactive experiences.
  • Support testing, debugging, documentation, and customer demonstrations.
What we’re looking for
  • Professional or project experience building interactive 3D applications in Unity, Unreal Engine, or a similar real‑time engine.
  • Strong programming fundamentals in C#, C++, Blueprints, or related real‑time development tools.
  • Working knowledge of 3D math, real‑time rendering concepts, user interaction, and performance constraints.
  • Ability to work across software, user experience, and hardware integration details.
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Nice to have
  • Experience with AR, VR, MR, or XR training systems.
  • Familiarity with OpenXR, MRTK, WebXR, Meta Quest, HoloLens, Vive, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with military, government, simulation, or technical training systems.
  • Experience with 3D asset pipelines, optimization, Blender, Maya, or similar tools.
  • Experience with multiplayer, networking, distributed simulation, or hardware‑in‑the‑loop systems.
