Continuous recruitment. Duties and Responsibilities (*denotes essential duties) Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement, individual must operate the following units during UH sporting events. *Operates the Daktronics Video Board Systems at the Stan Sheriff Center, T.C

Ching Athletics Complex, Les Murakami Baseball Stadium, and the Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium, and the Broadcast Pix switcher-board system at the Stan Sheriff Center. *Provides scoreboard content that provides live game action, replays, statistics, and promotional activities. *Features Corporate Partner brands and messages, as well as fan information.

*Trains student game day managers on Video Board and Camera Operators. *Operates the Sony HD wireless video camera during sporting events at the Stan Sheriff Center. * Captures on-court promotional contests and interactive activities with fans in the stands.

*Responsible for video equipment, including securing equipment daily, and maintaining the operations of the camera. *Troubleshoots technical issues that might arise with the camera during events. *Serves as Gameday DJ using discretion in selecting appropriate songs from the song library spanning numerous decades and genres.

*Keeps the game day energy high and the student- athletes, staff and fans entertained throughout the game. *Maintains a collaborative and positive working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team leaders and members, and individuals and appropriate relationships with members of the media, donors, and other individuals interested in Athletics. *Maintains confidentiality to include but not limited to information, files and records that the incumbent may obtain or possess, in accordance with federal and state laws and University of Hawaii policies.

*Knows, recognizes and complies with the laws, policies, rules and regulations governing the University of Hawai'i and its employees, and the rules of the NCAA and affiliated conferences as now constituted or as may be amended in the future. Immediately advises the Director of Athletics or designee if there are reasonable cause to believe violations, whether by employees, students, or others, have occurred or will occur. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university. Some experience in entertainment production Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team leaders and members, and individuals. Demonstrate the ability to recognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve the full range of problems that may commonly occur in a professional environment.

Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with people of diverse backgrounds. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a time-sensitive environment. Excellent project management skills.

Ability to maintain composure while under the stress, pressure and time-sensitive demands of the job. Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays. Knowledge of MAC and PC based computer systems and software.

Or equivalent education/training or experience. Desired Qualifications Experience in the media industry.
