Job description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Gaming Accountant I to join our Commerce Gaming Accounting Sect 1 team located at the Commerce Administration Building working .
Summary:
This position audits and prepares financial information for assigned CNDC facilities. The accountant is responsible for meeting monthly financial reporting deadlines along with quarterly and annual financial deadlines. The accountant is also responsible for reconciling all Income Statement and Balance Sheet accounts and providing all supporting documentation to account balances.
Responsibilities:
* Reconciles bank statements for assigned programs
* Performs monthly analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
* Reviews, manages and analyzes financial information for accuracy, allowability and applicability
* Assists leadership with financial questions and/or research
* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
* Works with internal and external auditors during audit periods
* Performs all other duties as assigned
