Job description

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, youโ€™ll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays. With average stays of two to three weeks, youโ€™ll build meaningful relationships and witness the difference your care makes in a patientโ€™s progress. You will be part of a dynamic rehabilitation team committed to caring for and improving lives every day. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering medications and treatments, monitoring responses, and reporting changes promptly 
  • Assisting with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence 
  • Monitoring vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly 
  • Documenting progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination 
  • Educating and supporting patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques 
  • Working closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care 

What qualifications you will need:


  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • IV Therapy must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse
  • Vocational School Graduate
