Position Overview


The Engineer I position is designed for entry-level to early-career engineers withย 0โ€“5 years of related experienceย and anย accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. This role supports the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of power-related systems while developing foundational engineering and project execution skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Apply engineering principles, design criteria, and software applications to support the design and construction of power-related systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of project estimates and development of engineering design options.
  • Prepare construction specifications and engineering documentation.
  • Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews of contractor-developed design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages.
  • Support the planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance of utility infrastructure and related systems.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of engineering standards and design criteria.
  • Support construction and maintenance teams during project execution and daily operations.
  • Estimate project materials and assist with procurement planning.
  • Prepare, review, and transmit construction packages and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory engineering standards.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by prioritizing safe work practices in all activities.
