Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Global Credit, Global Convertible, Volatility & Capital Structure Arbitrage, Event-Driven Investing, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets Trading, and Global Quantitative Trading.
Role Overview
Verition is seeking a motivated Operations Specialist to join its FX Operations team. The Specialist will be responsible for daily cash and position reconciliation across a high volume of transactions, multiple accounts, counterparties, and asset classes, leveraging a suite of internal and third-party systems. You will work closely with Trading, Technology, and other Operations teams to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of breaks.
Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cash and position reconciliations across internal systems, external platforms, and Prime Brokers.
  • Escalate and drive timely resolution of outstanding breaks.
  • Identify process gaps and partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement solutions.
  • Support trade capture for FX strategies. Track and manage trade lifecycle events including expiries, cashflows, and marking positions

Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in investment management or fund operations.
  • Working knowledge of productions FX spot, forwards, NDF, swaps, and exotic FX options.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with OMS platforms and prime broker portals Bloomberg AIM, Orchestrade, or Geneva experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
