Job description

What Product and Solutions Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health

Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

Product & Solutions Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and  life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.

Job Summary

The Senior Coordinator, Product and Solutions Marketing role is responsible for planning, organizing and leading solution implementations. This is done through collaboration with team members, sales partners, and customers to deliver against commitments to our customers. They serve as our key liaison between our Consumer Health Team and internal sales force and customers. They work with management and peers to develop consistent methodologies based on best practices for efficiently implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day operations of department Group Mailbox (GMB) which includes:

  • ​Prompt responses to inbox inquiries

  • Working with subject matter experts to answer incoming questions and cataloging answers to utilize for future replies

  • Maintain reporting on inbox volumes, response timing, inquiry completions and opportunities based on themes in inquiries

  • Manage reports utilized in execution of programs

  • Prepare and delivery leadership briefs and feedback loop

  • Promote Consumer Health products and programs to internal and external customers

  • Provide monthly reporting as needed

  • Conduct monthly customer calls (when applicable)

  • Work directly and indirectly with Regional and National pharmacy chains to implement products and programs

  • Track sales and product data

  • Interact with various teams as needed including, but not limited to, Consumer Health, National Sales Force, Independent Sales Force, Retail Independent Pharmacies, and Internal Stakeholders

  • Administers and executes policies and procedures

  • Works with other Consumer teams to align with, support and provide feedback on current and new Solutions as well as marketing and merchandising activities

  • Frequently interacts with peer groups at various management levels

  • Will occasionally present to and have communication with Directors and Vice President in Consumer Health and Independent and National Markets

  • Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution

  • Assist Account Management/Implementation team members with key initiatives such as:

    • Own the relationship, monthly reviews, and work activities between Cardinal and third-party retail services which can include new store onboarding, conversions, monthly marketing/merchandising checks, and other support activities

    • Help to organize and run conferences

    • Help organize and run regional promotional meetings for regional customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • 3-6 years of work experience, preferred

  • Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); especially in Outlook and Excel

  • Customer service, problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work with some ambiguity

  • Agile with ability to flex and innovate to meet the ever change needs of our customers

  • Ability to work cross functionally is critical to success

  • Ability to work independently but also as a valuable contributing member of a team

  • Ability to retain knowledge and apply it to future, similar situations

  • Effectively applies knowledge of job and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments

  • In-depth knowledge in technical or specialty area

  • Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems independently

  • May modify process to resolve situations

Anticipated hourly range: $22.50 per hour - $28.89 per hour
