Job description

We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our furniture store team. The Sales Associate will help customers find furniture and home décor that meets their style, needs, and budget while providing exceptional shopping experience.


Key Responsibilities


· Greet customers and provide a welcoming, professional shopping experience.

· Assist customers in selecting furniture, mattresses, décor, and accessories based on their needs and preferences.

· Learn and maintain knowledge of product features, materials, dimensions, pricing, warranties, and financing options.

· Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals.

· Build strong customer relationships and follow up with customers regarding purchases, special orders, and deliveries.

· Prepare sales orders, invoices, and other necessary paperwork accurately.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive sales floor.

· Arrange and merchandise furniture and accessories according to store standards.

· Communicate effectively with management, delivery teams, and other departments to ensure customer orders are handled accurately.

· Handle customer questions, concerns, and service issues professionally.

· Stay informed about promotions, discounts, new products, and store policies.

· Assist with inventory, showroom organization, and other duties as needed.


Qualifications


· Previous retail, furniture, home décor, or sales experience preferred.

· Excellent customer service and communication skills.

· Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

· Self-motivated, dependable, and goal-oriented.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
