We are looking for a Qualified Medication Aide to join our team.

Status: Full-Time 3rd, Part-Time 1st & 3rd

Pay: Starting from $19.50 Based on experience and $3.00 2nd and $3.00 3rd Shift Differential

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with preparing and administering medications ordered by the physician
  • Observe residents functioning, maintain written records of observations, and report any changes
  • Provide personal care services of residents and assistance in all activities of daily living as needed
  • Answer medical alert calls in a prompt and polite manner.
  • Attend initial training, in-service training sessions, and staff conferences upon request

Skills:

  • Ability to organize and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly tasks in order to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and possess problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Patience and fortitude to deal with various mental conditions of elderly residents
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Valid CPR certification
  • Active QMA certification
  • Must have successfully completed a state-approved medication administration training program
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be 21 years or older

Other:

  • Must be passionate for the senior generation
  • A criminal history background check that conforms to the Health Care Worker Background Check Act will be conducted
