This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.

The Product Management Associate will play a key role in supporting the growth and management of HarbourVest's global Direct Co-Investment platform. This highly visible position sits at the intersection of investments, fundraising, client engagement, and business strategy, offering broad exposure to product development, portfolio analysis, investor communications, and strategic initiatives. Working closely with Investment, Investor Relations, Solutions, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Tax teams, you will help drive successful fundraising and deliver best-in-class client servicing across HarbourVest's Direct Co-Investment funds and customized client solutions. Please note that this role is not focused on evaluating and executing Direct Co-Investments.

What you will do:
  • Serve as a key liaison between the Direct Co-Investment investment team and Investor Relations professionals, supporting fundraising, client servicing, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Support the full lifecycle of Direct Co-Investment products and client relationships, from product development and fundraising through portfolio monitoring, reporting, and ongoing management.
  • Develop and maintain investor-facing materials, including presentations, fund updates, PPMs, DDQs, RFP responses, data rooms, and marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate responses to investor inquiries and due diligence requests, including both quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and portfolio research to support product positioning, fundraising efforts, client engagement, and strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare fund, portfolio, and investment analyses, as well as recurring client, advisory board, and annual meeting materials.
  • Support strategic client and separately managed account initiatives, including prospect research, onboarding, implementation planning, and customized solutions.
  • Monitor fund and portfolio performance, capital activity, liquidity, and portfolio construction metrics to support business management and investor reporting.
  • Drive process improvements and technology-enabled solutions that enhance reporting, scalability, operational efficiency, and data integrity.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and business planning efforts that support the continued growth and management of the Direct Co-Investment platform.

#LI-Hybrid Base Salary Range $85,000.00 - $95,000.00
  • This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements.
  • This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance.
