ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to support the day-to-day operations of our private fund platform. This role provides operational support across portfolio valuation, loan administration, fund reporting, data management, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in commercial real estate, private fund operations, and investment management, and is eager to leverage technology to improve processes, enhance data quality, and support informed decision-making. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support portfolio valuation process by coordinating data collection, validating investment information, reconciling valuation inputs, and assisting with portfolio analysis.  
  • Assist with loan administration activities, including maintaining debt and covenant trackers, monitoring escrow balances, preparing lender reporting packages and periodic certifications, and responding to lender information requests.  
  • Help maintain the integrity of investment, portfolio, and fund data by collecting, validating, and consolidating information from internal teams and external partners to support accurate reporting and analytics.  
  • Coordinate the review and processing of general administrative and fund-related invoices in accordance with established policies and procedures.  
  • Support fund operations by assisting with recurring reporting, investor deliverables, and other operational activities across the Welltower Fund platform.  
  • Partner with Investments, Asset Management, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to support fund initiatives and operational priorities.  
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate routine tasks, and leverage emerging technologies to increase efficiency and strengthen operational controls.  
  • Perform ad hoc analyses, reporting, and special projects to support the continued growth and evolution of the Welltower Fund.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

  • 0-3 years of experience in real estate private equity, fund accounting, real estate investment management, valuation, or a related field. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or similar business or analytical field required. Master’s degree, CPA, or other professional certification is a plus. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities and ownership. 
  • Proficiency in Excel required, experience with Yardi, OneStream or Power BI is a plus.
