Job description

Rising Tide Interactive is currently accepting Accounting Internship applications for our paid Summer/Fall Internship Program in our Washington, DC office. Our intern will have the opportunity to join us in our work supporting RTI's financial operations, enabling our team to provide top-notch support to Democratic campaigns, committees, PACs, and nonprofits. Also: *every* internship comes with training and mentoring opportunities (this isn't a gimmick; we want to help you learn!).

As a member of the team, you will:

  • Assist our team with financial recordkeeping
  • Maintain client accounts excel tracker and other accounting logs
  • Assist with monthly reimbursement process 
  • View payments made via online banking portal and mark invoices paid in accounting software
  • Assist with credit card and account reconciliations 
  • Prepare & send invoices
  • Other duties as needed

The important stuff: 

  • Paid internship? Yep! We pay $17.95/hour 
  • This internship is part-time (up to 10 hours/week)
  • Internships typically run from July 6th to November 24th, but we're flexible with start/end dates 
  • Location: This position is based in our office in Washington, DC. This position will work a hybrid schedule, with two days a week in the office and three days remotely. 
  • We will provide a laptop.
