This role designs, configures, and supports SAP S/4HANA solutions that align with endtoend business processes in an assetintensive, safetycritical environment. Working closely with operational teams, corporate functions, and technical partners, the analyst ensures SAP capabilities effectively support production, maintenance, supply chain, finance, and commercial activities.

In this role you will:
  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies 
  • Partner with business stakeholders across mining operations, supply chain, maintenance, and finance to understand requirements, assess process impacts, and design effective SAP S/4HANA functional solutions
  • Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and related artifacts
  • Configure SAP S/4HANA modules such as FI/CO, MM, PM, SD, PS or other relevant areas to support mine-site operations, procurement, maintenance planning and financial processes
  • Coordinate and support testing activities, including test planning, scenario development, defect triage, and user acceptance testing
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure effective integration, high-quality FRICEW development, and successful end-to-end solution delivery
  • Support system enhancements, release cycles, and change management activities across the SAP landscape
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance system performance
  • Provide training, guidance and knowledge transfer to end-users and functional stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, data integrity standards, internal controls, and mining-industry compliance requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Functional Analyst, including configuration and support in S/4HANA
  • Strong functional knowledge in at least one of the following modules: FI/CO, MM, PM, SD, PS or related areas supporting mining or heavy industry operations
  • Experience supporting asset-intensive environments, ideally within mining, oil & gas, energy, or manufacturing
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional designs and system configurations
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and familiarity with integration points across SAP modules and third-party operational systems
  • Experience with testing cycles, defect management, and UAT coordination
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to support users across remote sites and operational environments
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent 
Salary range: 108,000 - 133, 000 CAD /year

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
