What does a functional QA tester do?

A typical day for a Functional QA Tester involves reviewing requirements, designing and executing test cases, documenting results, and reporting defects to the development team. Testers often participate in daily stand-up meetings as part of an Agile team and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA personnel to ensure thorough coverage of system functionality.
