Join the MTD Team as a Key Player in Temporary Water Solutions!

At MTD, we specialize in delivering temporary water solutions at Music Festivals and Sporting Events. As a Branch Operations Manager, you will lead the daily operations of your assigned branch, ensuring operational excellence, efficient resource management, and successful project execution.

Based in our Las Vegas branch, you will report directly to the US Operations Director and provide leadership for warehouse operations, and branch support staff. You will be responsible for ensuring projects assigned to your branch are delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with MTD’s quality standards. This role requires exceptional leadership, operational planning, workforce development, and cross-functional collaboration to support MTD’s continued growth across the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficient workflow, resource allocation, logistics, and operational performance.
  • Lead, coach, mentor warehouse personnel, and branch support staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels by planning workforce requirements, recruiting, training, and developing employees to meet current and future project demands.
  • Oversee branch project execution, ensuring all projects received the correct equipment in accordance with MTD’s quality and client service standards.
  • Coordinate staffing assignments are aligned to projects based on qualifications, experience, and operational needs.
  • Maintain regular communication with project managers and warehouse personnel and ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials. Coordinate with the Project Manager for adjustments to the project requirements as necessary.
  • Partner with the Fleet Manager to ensure sufficient equipment availability, maintenance readiness, and effective asset utilization. Develop a repair program for the equipment inventory of the assigned branch.
  • Foster a culture centered on safety, accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate closely with the US Operations Director and other Branch Operations Managers to optimize planning, resource sharing, and operational consistency across all locations. Align to a “ONE” MTD organization.
  • Monitor branch performance metrics, identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, operational procedures, and quality standards.
  • Support business continuity by proactively identifying operational risks, developing contingency plans, and responding effectively to changing project requirements.
  • Serve as the primary branch leader and provide support for critical project issues, including availability for emergency operational response when required.
  • Support HR requirements of the branch
  • Some travel required to support projects in the region
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of leadership experience in operations, logistics, construction, utilities, events, or project-based industries.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing warehouse operations is preferred
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft products, ability to learn new computer software
  • Technical acumen with a curiosity to learn new equipment and MTD systems
