TEE TIME @ PGN is Chicagoland's newest golf entertainment destination, located adjacent to Hickory Hills Country Club. Featuring a full-service bar & grill, golf simulators, TopTracer driving range, and 36 holes of miniature golf, Tee Time @ PGN offers a unique hospitality experience unlike anything else in the area.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead the operation with full accountability for guest experience, team development, operational excellence, and financial performance.
This position reports directly to the Regional General Manager and Ownership.
POSITION SUMMARY
The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of Tee Time @ PGN.
This is a hands-on leadership position. The successful candidate will lead from the floor, build and develop a strong team, drive revenue, maintain exceptional operating standards, and deliver an outstanding guest experience while operating within a structured, performance-driven environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead all day-to-day operations of Tee Time @ PGN.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, schedule, coach, and develop employees.
  • Lead by example with a hands-on management style.
  • Drive revenue growth across the bar & grill, golf simulators, TopTracer driving range, miniature golf, leagues, outings, and special events.
  • Develop and present growth initiatives to Regional Management and Ownership.
  • Execute approved business initiatives.
  • Maintain exceptional guest service standards.
  • Ensure the facility is clean, organized, safe, and operating at a high level.
  • Manage labor, inventory, purchasing, food and beverage costs, and operating expenses.
  • Maintain accountability for financial performance and operating results.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Communicate significant operational issues, guest concerns, emergencies, and policy exceptions promptly to Regional Management.
  • Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum five years of General Manager or senior hospitality management experience.
  • Strong food & beverage operational background.
  • Proven P&L management experience.
  • Demonstrated success hiring, coaching, and leading teams.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent operational judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Golf, entertainment, or multi-revenue hospitality experience preferred but not required.
  • Nights, weekends, and holidays required.
