About the Role:
Kids Fun Cuts in Chino, CA is looking for a talented and energetic Kids Hair Stylist to join our fun-loving team! If you have a passion for working with children and a knack for creating great haircuts in a lively, welcoming environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Come be part of a place where every visit is an adventure and every client leaves with a smile!
Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality haircuts and styling services tailored specifically to children of all ages
  • Create a fun, comfortable, and safe salon experience for kids and their parents
  • Consult with parents to understand desired styles and deliver results that exceed expectations
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation in compliance with state cosmetology standards
  • Build rapport with young clients to help ease anxiety and encourage a positive salon experience
  • Upsell salon products and additional services as appropriate
  • Manage appointment scheduling and walk-in clients efficiently during busy periods
Requirements:
  • Valid California Cosmetology License required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional hair styling experience, preferably with children
  • Patience, energy, and a genuine love for working with kids of all ages and temperaments
  • Strong communication skills with both children and parents
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy salon environment
