About the Role:
Shooter's Billiards and Sports Bar Cedar Park and N. Austin are looking for an energetic and reliable Door Person/Bar Back to join our team! This dual role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, fun environment and loves being part of the action on the floor. If you're a people person with a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Check IDs and verify age compliance at the door to ensure a safe and legal environment
  • Greet and welcome guests as they enter, setting the tone for a great experience
  • Monitor crowd flow and maintain a safe, orderly atmosphere throughout the venue
  • Stock and restock bar supplies including liquor, beer, mixers, ice, and glassware
  • Keep bar areas clean, organized, and fully stocked to support bartenders during peak hours
  • Remove empty bottles, glasses, and debris from the bar and surrounding areas
  • Assist bartenders with restocking and running supplies to ensure smooth bar operations
Requirements:
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • TABC certification and food handlers certificate required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy, high-energy setting
