Mid-Level Software Developer
Location: Laurel, MD
Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Polygraph
SITEC Consulting is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to support the sustainment, enhancement, and production support of enterprise business applications in a secure mission environment. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting critical systems, and working in a fast-paced Agile team environment.
The selected candidate will join a collaborative team of developers and systems engineers responsible for ensuring enterprise applications remain reliable, effective, and responsive to operational needs. This position provides the opportunity to support application development, troubleshoot production issues, improve system sustainment processes, and help identify and correct potential issues before they impact users.
Responsibilities
  • Provide software development and production support for enterprise applications.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance application features and system functionality.
  • Create and consume RESTful endpoints.
  • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action for production issues.
  • Assist with maintaining Linux-based environments.
  • Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, testers, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
  • Support sustainment improvements that increase system reliability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Learn and apply new technologies to solve customer and mission support challenges.
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
